Tokyo Take Two

Experiencing technical difficulties with blogspot right now so my blog somehow posted before i was able to spell check and do a final sweep through. Now -- the real difficulty-- is that it's not letting me get back into the posting at all. This means there may be some typos and there are a few things I would've liked to have cleaned up. So if the writing isn't good, it's because of that.

Also, I forgot to include one of the biggest, most fun things about Tokyo -- the heated toilet seats! It sounds quirky and looks even crazier (like a remote control with a bunch of buttons connected to the toilet), but trust me -- it is better than a massage. You really don't want to get up! The only downside is that with so many buttons, it's hard to figure out which ones makes the damn thing flush. In one restaurant they had the "automatic flush" on, so I didn't have to figure it out. In another, I'm ashamed to say, I was too scared to press any (a lot of them produce bidet-type results, e.g. water shooting up out of the toilet) so left the bathroom unflushed.

Anyway, if you ever get the chance to try one, don't pass it up!

  3. you are too funny! left it unflushed...gross, but something I would do. I can't stand the airplane toilets because of that, so I always put the lid down (with tissue), flush and quickly turn my back to the door...just in case.
